Our award winning team of science communicators are on hand to deliver the best birthday ever!
PICK A PARTY
Our fully interactive birthday parties are jam packed full with amazing demonstrations and hands-on science activities to keep everyone entertained. Our parties are suitable for age 5+ years. You can choose from:
Crazy Chemistry (60 mins) - Following an interactive mini science show filled with colour changes and eruptions, the children will make Chromatography Butterflies, Skittles Rainbows, Test Tube Rainbows and Marshmallow Bath Bombs to take home.
ExperiMENTAL Potions (60 mins) - Perfect for Harry Potter fans, the children will create their own Wands and Balancing Owls (take home) following which they will master the art of potion making with Colour Changing Potions, Fizzy Potions, Bubbling Cauldrons and Bouncy Crystal Balls.
Sensational Slime (60 mins) - Following a demonstration of our dancing Oobleck, the children will learn how to make the worlds best slime including Galaxy slime, Fluffy slime and Floam all of which they can take home.
Fab Physics (60 mins, Hall Only, suitable for 7 yrs +) - The children will explore electricity with our hair raising Van de Graaff generator, create human circuits and blow up giant balloons in one puff!! Following this the children will make paper rockets, mind bending thaumatropes and levitating ping pong balls to take home.
Tablecloths, lab coats and goggles will be provided.
In your own home:
Up to a maximum of 12 children.
Must have a table big enough to sit all children.
In a hall:
Up to 30 children.
Must have enough tables to sit all children and must be put out ready for us to set up.
Must have access to a sink.
You are responsible for hall hire costs.
*Please note that we require 30 mins either side of the party for set up and clean down.
TRAVEL
ExperiMENTAL Science is based in Pontypridd (CF37) and will travel free of charge to venues within a 20 mile radius. A charge of £0.50 per mile will be applied to distances beyond 20 miles.
EXTRAS
We can provide party bags containing equipment and instructions to make a Pom Pom Catapult plus science stickers a treat size bag of Haribo, a Drumstick lolly and 2 Moam sweets for £3 per child.
